About The Voice

Who We Are

Mission Statement

Voice of the Village is a monthly newspaper that serves the Foothills Communities. Our mission is to provide news coverage on subjects of community interest: topical issues, cultural and social events, dining, sports, human interest stories, business, youth, school, and Neighborhood Council news. We believe that a good local newspaper is like the cozy fire around which the community gathers. It brings people closer together and improves the quality of life in the community.

Advertise with Us

Advertising in Voice of the Village supports the community as a whole. Advertisements allow us to publish more stories about the community and its people –– which also includes the advertisers. We offer a variety of advertising options to suit your budget and preference. We do not build ads. Ads must be submitted as ‘camera ready’ documents. Our advertising staff can connect you with experts in the community who do create and build ads. Advertisements are due by the 15th of each month. To find out more about advertising with the Voice and getting your business known throughout the community e-mail: adsales@voiceovthevillage.org.

Our Community Reporters

Contributions from the community are encouraged. We welcome stories on schools, service clubs, community groups, houses of worship, sporting events, social and cultural events, artistic endeavors, and so forth. Please submit your stories, ideas, tips and announcements to: editor@voiceofthevillage.org.
